Everything about UK | 2007-06-05 |
uktv.co.uk is a website that celebrates everything that is great about Britain. From Drama, history, people, documentary, style, gardens to food, the website has everything you want to know about UK. The navigation is easy with the main categories on the top and sub-categories on the left. If you visit the site for the first time, you might be overwhelmed by the amount of information. Luckily, there are images to help digest the information.
The DIY section is particularly interesting. It has information about painting, plumbing, toubleshooting and security... just to name a few. What's more, there are step by step videos (Good for people who don't like reading)! All videos, images and guide are clear and extremely easy to follow. The web designer must have put in alot of effort to make sure the site is idiot proof. Another huge area is the TV Listings section. In that section, you can see the schedule of all movies screened in different channels at different times of the day. Another great effort by the web master. I seriously can't think of anything that I can't find in the website. If you are a person that gets bored easily, you should check out uktv.co.uk. |

Free Auctions a better alternative to ebay | 2007-05-09 |
Powersellers often complain about one drawback of selling on sites like ebay: the fees. It is no wonder why they complain ebay takes as much as 7% of their profits. As you know ebay owns paypal the leading online auctions credit card processor. However people are turning to smarter alternatives little by little. A seller can save as much as 5.70% on sales. How you ask by using free auctions and Moneybookers.
Moneybookers does not charge sellers any transaction fees. http://www.free-auctions.ca is one such site offering free online auctions, well free listings anyways, end of auction fees range from 1.20% to 2%. However any googler can search using the keyword free auctions and find a free ebay alternative and then list their items for no fees.

Are You Using Myspace? | 2006-11-24 |
| The Internet is developing at a fast pace. In the last few years blogs and then social book-marking became a rage, and to confess to you honestly I still haven’t gotten the hang of how to use either of these two for marketing purposes. However, I am not such an old geezer after all, because I really am into Myspace.com. |

FrontPage and FrontPage Extensions | 2006-10-14 |
| A short time ago it was announced that Microsoft are withdrawing FrontPage from their product range this year. While I'm not a great fan of this particular piece of software, a lot of people are and there are a lot of FrontPage built websites in existence. |

The True Art of Website Building | 2006-10-11 |
| The most asked question by my visitors is whether or not they need a website to make money online. Well, the short answer is no; you can still take advantage of PPC services like Adwords, for example, and send traffic directly to your merchant's sales page without a website. But what we're going to do now is reevaluate needing a website. |

Is Your Website Neurology Friendly? | 2006-09-27 |
| Our experience of the world is created by gathering information through the use of our five senses (sight, sound, touch, taste and smell). Each of us tends to develop a favourite mode of focus. Some people are more impacted, for example, by what they see; their visual system tends to be more dominant. For others, sounds are the trigger for their greatest life’s experiences, while for still others, feelings are the foundation. |

What is DTD? | 2006-08-18 |
| I have been designing websites since 1996. In the beginning, it was so easy. Someone called me with a project, they sent me the content for their website, which I would then upload to Microsoft Frontpage or a text editor, insert some HTML tags for formatting and some graphics to make the site colorful, and the job was finished. |
