Site Critic is non-profit organisation providing opportunities for anyone who has passion for web technologies to learn and share ideas in creating effective web sites with the online community. An author of Site Critic can submit web site reviews and articles to our site - English Only. Any webmaster or publisher may re-print your work across the web provided your work and biography remains intact. Please note that we do not accept any site reviews or articles that promote pornography, gambling, drug addiction and violence.
Why Become An Author
By becoming an author, you benefit the web community with your internet knowledge and writing skills. You may review websites, write internet articles or your design experiences. You need not be a professional writer. As long as your English writing skills is decent, it should be good enough. In fact, we would love to have authors from different parts of the world to give more flavours to our site. All work that you published will have your own biography intact. In this way, you gain free exposure across the web especially when your work is re-published else where. Your url will also appear in the author's section in sitecritic.net. In addition to that, you get a full page to write about yourself, company or any services that you offer. Writing for sitecritic.net is an effective way to promote yourself and your web sites.
Writing Internet, Web Articles
All articles submitted to sitecritic.net must be related any of the following:
a) Web Site / Page Creation.
b) Web Design Principles.
c) CSS / HTML / XML
d) Javascript
e) Server Scripting / Web Database
f)
Search Engine Optimization
g) Internet Marketing
f) Others (Eg. Web Hosting, News, Reviews...and so on)
Sitecritic.net reserves the right to reject any submission if the article does not fit into any of the categories as listed above. Any article that we see as spam will be deleted immediately. We may remove any articles from the database without prior notice.
Before submitting an article, please search the database to make sure that the article has not been added by someone else. We accept long articles. If your article is more than 10000 words, you can split your text into 2 articles and submit them separately.

Writing Your Design Experience
If you have commercial design experience, why not share with everyone your design process. For example, if you have designed a logo before, you can write down the project brief, research process, brain storming ideas and your final output.
The project that you are describing must be related to any of the followings:
a) Web Page Design
b) logo Design
c) brochure / prints
d) illustration / Painting
e) Multimedia
f) Photography
g) Other graphic design related stuffs
There are no hard and fast rules as to how you should write your experiences. As long as it is interesting and free from grammatical errors, it will most likely be published.

Writing Website Reviews
Writing web site/page reviews is probably more suitable for people who are in the web industry for some time and have a passion for web design and development. You also need to have a url to accompany your bio.
After you sign up as an author, you may select a website from a list of approved urls submitted by the public. Any positive or negative comments relating to its Layout, Design, CSS, SEO, Surfing speed, Functionality...etc are welcomed but please be professional with words. It is assumed that Sitecritic authors are competent enough to produce publications for public viewing.

Text Formatting and Links
The online editor in sitecritic.net will handle most HTML formatting issues. If you know HTML, you may edit the source code yourself.
Please keep your text simple and easily readable by the general public. Each critic or article can range anywhere from 300 to 10000 words (more doesn't mean good). It is the reponsibility of the authors to check all their work for errors before submitting. All links included in your text must be active. We recommend not having more than 3 links in your critic or article.
Removal of Account
To remove your account, please notify us by emailing support@sitecritic.net. Please note that all the articles and reviews that you submitted before your removal are still available in sitecritic.net and available for re-print .
Constructive Feedbacks
Any authors may provide feedbacks on the site critics / reviews or articles submitted by another author. Sitecritic authors must take the feedbacks on their work constructively and professionally. They should not engage in "verbal battle" under any circumstances. Failure to do so may result in account ban. If there are issues that any author would like to resolve, the author should email support@sitecritic.net directly.
Getting Paid
If we pay you for an article, the rights to publish and host the article is exclusive only to sitecritic.net. You can link to the article URL from other websites but cannot publish it wholesale.
Copyright Issues
Authors should only submit their own original written work to which they have natural copyright. We may re-publish your work elsewhere with a link back to your original article in Sitecritic's website.
Any work posted in sitecritic.net will be immediately removed without notice if copyright is disputed as a result of plagiarism or unauthorized copying. Authors of Site Critic must be aware that violation of copyright law is legally liable and may be subjected to fines.
